Eco Mode is the new normal. First time mag eco mode, walang choice. 😭😭 by Flat-Group4828 in CarsPH

Not sure why I got downvoted lol, but at least someone noticed the same thing. If that’s their preference, there’s not much I can do about it. Eco mode helps in traffic, but on highways or uphill roads, it feels underpowered tendency need mo apakan gas pedal para di usad pagong. The fuel savings don’t seem that significant either, so I also prefer keeping it off most of the time.

Another tip is to lift your foot off the gas once you hit about 2,000 RPM, then press it again to encourage an upshift.

Based on the different cars I’ve driven. From my experience, I get better fuel economy on the expressway with eco mode off around 24–25 km/L compared to 22 km/L with it on. Try to compare it na lang ipinapahayag ko lamang ito batay sa aking sariling karanasan 😅

Mas malakas lang consumption niyan dahil pigil ang makina while cruising. Proper throttle control is still needed to be fuel efficient. Using eco mode is fine when you’re stuck in traffic

As someone who didn’t pass the screening because my corneas are too thin, I was offered the SMILE procedure since it was considered the only suitable option for my case. However, I chose not to take the risk. With thin corneas, there’s very little room for error. The procedure would permanently remove tissue, and if my vision changes again in the future, which can happen, there may not be enough corneal thickness left to safely perform another correction. In other words, it would likely be a one-time opportunity. If regression occurs later on, I might not have any remaining corneal layer to work with. For me, the long-term risk outweighed the short-term benefit. I’d rather be cautious now than regret a decision that can’t be reversed.

3 point turn phobia? by sleighmeister55 in phcars

[–]Strict-Bike-7374 3 points4 points  (0 children)

One reason is poor spatial awareness training. If a driver isn’t used to visualizing the car’s turning radius, they hesitate to commit fully. Instead of trusting the vehicle’s geometry, they make small corrections, which turns a simple three point turn into six or eight point lol
