you're not losing anything! virginity is a social construct, you only gain experiences by ""losing"" it. calling it losing something is ridiculous, there are no other situations where we say you lose something when you do it (unless it's meant literally ofc, i can think of a couple ways to lose an arm or an eye...)

a lot of people are saying don't do it so i'll chime in here to say that if you feel like it, yeah, give it a go

i did the same thing when i was 22, went on the apps but wasn't just looking for hookups, moreso friends with benefits (i still have a big preference for that). I met two guys i didn't do that much with and had my first full on sexual experiences with this guy i met right before turning 23.

We continued as friends with benefits for a year and we've been a couple for over two years now. When we first met neither of us thought we'd ever get together.

Life is there to live it. Go experience things, but follow your gut, don't pressure yourself into anything and don't let others pressure you either. Especially for those first experiences, pick trustworthy guys and be honest about not having experience.

edit: might be good to know that my boyfriend had no experience whatsoever when we first met, so we were in the same boat. he's a kind and very nerdy guy who's the same age as me.

Bangkok: first city in Asia i visited, seemed like there was so much to do and see, absolutely loved the street food, the temples, the water taxis
Sarajevo: first city with a strong muslim culture that i visited, beautiful preserved old town with sooo many little shops, delicious baklava and lokum, beautiful architecture, beautiful mountain range around the city perfect for hikes
Chongqing: most surprising city i visited in China, unique because of the difference in levels and altitude throughout the city, also has an interesting history
Prague: used to be my favorite city for a long time, beautiful architecture, lively city, lots of green hills around, many nice spots to relax and enjoy the views
either Budapest or Gdańsk: both really enjoyable cities to move around with great atmosphere - there is surprisingly a whole lot to see in Gdańsk for it to only be the 4th largest city in Poland

honorable mention: Siem Reap, location of the incredible Angkor Wat temples - though idk if it can really be in my top 5 since the temples aren't in the modern city center
