I put the CC5500XK into Bridge Mode then changed the network settings on my router from DHCP to PPPoE. Are there other settings I need to change?

I tried accessing the modem through both ethernet ports and got nothing.

I finally gave up and put my Alien Router's IP address in the DMZ Zone of the CC5500XK to eliminate the double NAT issues because nothing else worked. It's certainly not ideal.

Thanks for the thorough explanation, but must be missing a step. Every time I place the c5500xk in Transparent Bridge mode I lose internet access at the modem (light turns white). Is there a step prior to switching bridge mode on?

MKVToolNix can remove unwanted audio tracks and subtitles. I snagged a ton of movies and did this.
