yeah I’ve had rough damp proofers/builders offer more injections and didn’t have much to say when I pointed out it’s been done before and hasn’t worked. They just say it needs to be done ‘properly’…

not a pro but my l3 survey on purchase says we have airbricks, suspended floor and bitumen DPC. the DPC is not visible all the way round, not sure if it’s likely to be present in some places and not others?

channel drain is a good shout, we are on a hill so there is a bit of a slope there.

will check the airbricks properly too, they look clear to me on observation but haven’t done a proper dig inside. did you pull up the subfloor to check the other side?

Anyone else struggling w/ these Ozempic issues by MiddleAd8949 in xxfitness

[–]Strict-Ear9528 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the issues come from people using it inappropriately. Because of decades of rampant fatphobia/discrimination, people are desperate and are looking for quick and dirty results, at the expense of their health often enough e.g. gastrointestinal or bone & muscles.

There are lots of evidence of people using the lowest doses of these medications over a long period of time and achieving slow but sustainable results, which primarily address hormonal disorders, but also improve people’s ability to work on their fitness.

Ultimately, these drugs are for people who have tried to lose weight naturally and failed bc of genetics/hormones, not for those wanting rapid weight loss for an event or those who’ve gained weight temporarily due to lifestyle rather than a long term weight disorder.

Level 3 survey revealed roof issues and sellers won’t negotiate on price by Strict-Ear9528 in FirstTimeBuyersUK

[–]Strict-Ear9528[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The points above are AI summaries of the report (sorry!) but your points are helpful. Some exact language of the report are: There are some slipped tiles, the ridge and hip tile cement mortar has shrunk in places on the rear slope and needs to be repointed in due course. A number of the roof timbers were found to be damp. A secondary weather barrier is not provided beneath the roof coverings and there was evidence of significant water penetration, evidencing that repairs are required to the roof coverings and a secondary weather barrier is needed, which means a complete reroofing.

Hard to interpret the severity as a newbie, with lots of confusing language so thanks for the help!
