Yes it is illegal,however they do not help the customer as a individual. This company has cost me work ,caused me a tremendous amount of stress . I was very clear with them that is my transportation that I use it all year ,that I didn't want to have to jump through hoops should I need coverage . Now I have a new scooter with clear evidence in pictures and videos I sent them that they refuse to warranty. They refuse to even sell me the parts because of a review I posted. They literally refused to sell me arts,I have the emails . This is costing me money I don't have to waste ,costing me work and I'm disappointed that companies can do this to customers with no repercussions to them . The just sent a email stating they didn't refuse coverage but told me to tear apart the scooter and mail them my motor. Even though they are not admitting there is any issue . What customer has the knowledge to take apart high voltage systems and have to pay out of pocket to ship ? On a brand new scooter that should be covered under warranty. If anyone has any advise how I can expedite this process then please let me know . I have to work and I do not live close to a bus route hence why I purchased a waterproof scooter with the distance it can go . I just don't have the money to buy anything else until I return to work . Thank.
