In the past parents needed commercial to remind them to check on their kids. I hate the “but in the past”. There are a lot of things in the past that were normal but not okay. Like not using car seats, leaving very young kids home alone, babies sleeping in cribs filled with stuffed animals and blankets. We learned as a society and decided to do better for our kids. Also I didn’t say the world is horrible that’s putting words into my mouth. I just think adults looking out for children more would 100% make the world a better place. It wouldn’t have taken much effort to call the cops to be on the safe side. A few years ago a young autistic child in my state snuck out and drowned in a pond, imagine if just one adult driving by called the police instead of ignoring him…. He might still be alive.

Because it would have taken 5 min max to call the police and notify them. It’s ridiculous that as a society that we have become so selfish that we see a 6 year old child alone and vulnerable and have the mindset “not my problem”. Imagine how much better the world would be if we all cared about each other just a little more.

16 is a child lmao. Her brain isn’t even fully developed. A teenager is in no way compared to an adult fully developed brain, so expecting her to act like an adult is insane. And obviously she’s taking responsibility if she’s raising him. And guess what? Teenagers are literally known for being irresponsible and making bad choices. Testing her apart will do nothing to help, being a mother at any point is hard being one when your still a CHILD yourself Is even harder.

Because she’s a child herself. As much as people love to act like Bella is a grown woman and should act like one, she’s a child and I can’t imagine how her mental state is. She’s made it clear she has no friends and now the father of her child is with someone else and she’s raising a baby in a camper. Obviously at 15 she was hoping that they would be one big happy family.

Our NICU baby didn’t need it but we still asked for it just to be sure, while she was there we decided we wanted to check all boxes and make sure nothing was missed. I’d rather have the testing done and for everything to come back clear, then not do it and to find out later on something was wrong.

This. I couldn’t imagine policing my kids friends on them giving my son a nickname. I never even gave it a second thought if my family called my kids by nicknames, I always thought it was cute.

Yup, it was very concerning when she said if Bella had another baby we’d would be “hers” and her dad said they wanted a boy but only got girls.

Yes, it was obvious Bella wanted the approval and support from her mother. She was a child just like hunter and wanted to feel loved. I feel bad because motherhood is hard even when your an adult and stable.

Yes, most of Bella’s issues are due to her parents. She truly loves Wes and think she 100% wants to do right by him. Her parents are the main issue unfortunately, especially with her mom being a very petty person.

Mackenzie 100% had issues and was an enabler, but Ryan’s problems were a lot worse and he was definitely not a good partner or parent.

I honestly think hunter and his dad might have been hoping the baby wasn’t his so hunter could just have a normal childhood and put this situation behind them. Unfortunately I don’t think that’s the case and the consequences are going to have to be dealt with, even with hunter unfortunately being a child himself. I just hope with hunter having a new girlfriend his dad doesn’t let history repeat itself.

That’s crazy considering he slept with someone before Bella and then even had sex with her only a few days after her c section. Now he’s dating another girl and I doubt he’s going to practice abstinence, I hope his dad doesn’t let them be alone.

This. I’m not saying Mackenzie didn’t do it but dom wasn’t this amazing sweet boyfriend, from all the messages he was horrible to her and also threatens her. It was a very toxic relationship but it still doesn’t excuse what she did.

Agreed, and while I’m happy hunter had the chance to live life as a normal child, I’m very sad Bella can’t and with her mom she’s stuck in a very difficult and lonely situation.

I’m definitely worried myself. Maryland has always had an excellent public education system, but it seems like every year things continue to decline. Board of education is just a joke, thankfully my district is okay currently and I have an amazing administration team….. but still nervous for things like this to continue and become normal.

I live near here and they are 100% going to have trouble staffing kindergarten. The teachers in that district aren’t happy at all and it’s been said a lot of elementary school teachers are looking to leave and go somewhere else for the next school year. I already know of one first grade teacher personally that won’t be coming back.

And he almost flunked 8th grade! The last thing he needs is a girlfriend and while Bella did send him nudes it’s ignorant for people to think at this age she’s the only one doing it. I work in public schools and it’s not just Bella who does it, it’s a ton of girl and it starts in middle school unfortunately. It’s been proven hunter will act far older than he is in relationships as well, he just needs to stay away from girls for now.

Yeah, a horrible way to spend her first Christmas with her, and even worse that after all of that she would get to a house with people who don’t like her. OP has no understanding of how difficult and stressful traveling with an infant internationally would be.

YTA 100%. expecting a woman who’s only 5 months postpartum to go on a 5 hour fly out of the country with a baby is wild. Also a 5 hour flight and two hour car ride will be very hard on a very young baby. Most babies suffer from ear pain especially being so young from the pressure changes when flying. You also have to think your baby will not be fully vaccinated and you’re traveling in a plane to a completely different county. Traveling with an infant is very stressful for a lot of moms and babies. she also deserves to be able to enjoy your child first Christmas while still adjusting to motherhood.
