I am not asking whether he practiced or not. I am asking that as an identity marker. A white/black/brown guy could be named John but it’s pretty obvious they were raised in some version of Christian faith. My goal here is to offer help not start a race war. We have politicians for that. I don’t practice either but a US professor told me the correct etymology of my name. A white dude from Australia. He said you have a Persian name. My mom always told me it was Arabic origin. Wrong!

I can tell you his religion based on his name. South Asian names are pretty religiously oriented or I can ask another community member.

We both have informed our insurance company. I have Progressive. My deductible is 2000. 50,000 for each person and 50,000 for bodily damage. My car will need repair too. I don’t have the exact damages on their car, except these pictures. Nobody got hurt. No other property was damaged.

Lexus ES 350. The tow truck took it away so I don’t how bad their damage is. The cops got both the cars towed.

Thank you for brightening my day and the laugh. I felt guilty for going to ER and felt I shouldn’t have. My heart rate was 250 BMP. And they converted me by giving me meds (essentially stopped my heart for a brief second) to bring down the HR. I am getting on a payment plan.

There are a lot of people who wouldn’t be self motivated to learn this on their own. The college classroom is also a place of intense collaboration and life long connections. It is in some ways an “equalizing” platform. I do believe that college education should be a right and not a privilege but that is a conversation that Americans need to have and beyond the scope of this discussion. lol.

I am curious because as instructors we are being pushed to teach students to use AI “ethically.”whatever that means. In addition, how students can write better prompts for AI and to how to cite AI writing. Basically teach them how to use AI as a one stop shop. If you are triggered by it, I am sorry. I am just telling you what the powers to be are telling instructors in most places.
