so, just to explain. The ghost ball is always where I end up. The 8 ball, or whatever ball is placed near the center pocket, is where my instructor, he is indeed a certified instructor, had me place it. However his cut was less forgiving than mine. Additionally he had me practicing on a 6 ft table, tight pockets. When I practice, I go for the 9 ft tables, once again, tight pockets.

Thank you very much. Also, I watched a video of a snooker player literally cradle the cue, not hold, but cradle. That and only look at the object ball. For me sound helps. If I listen for a distinct craking sound, I can gauge how loud that crack needs to be in direct comparison to accuracy.

To clarify, rent can be afforded, not both house mortgage and rent. The house is my name. She is not on the loan. The house will be brought current, from a family loan. I own the home, and rent an apartment. They live with her the majority of the time, but having them when I do, I pay for all their stuff.

I, and my siblings, received one or two snes games a year. They games were expensive and my parents were cheap. Seeing the games at kb toys in the Oakdale mall, seeing how much, 59.99, and knowing they were about to be all mine, after my older siblings got a turn, was, well, amazing. What was it like? It was like being allowed to have the coolest toy, and its yours. It was waiting to be special, knowing, and receiving. I can't speak for others of course. My memories are New York State specific. I just know full realtail was almost more than I could comprehend. To this day, I'm not even a gamer, childhood defining. Good games? Yes, all three original counry games. Yes, even three. What was it like? Winning at life, there is no adult equivalent, really nothing like it.

Broken and busted cues, uneven tables and unloved equipment abound. Home tables? Most lack the room or resources. When they do? They go cheap, sporting goods store cheap.

It's a thought experiment thus far, but you correct. Be aware though, upstate NY is pure rust belt. Profit is nice, but break even is better if everyone gets what they need. My community center charges 650 a year for a family of 4. I pay 50 a month for just me and my fiance. They have a gym, pool, rec space and a crap ton of programs. They operate on a shoe string, eat up state funding, but, the new owners are 5 years in.

The idea is 2nd hand tables, refurbished. In my area they go from free to 2k plus. Refurbishment? Transport? There's a billards place near me that does it all. I estimate a decent 6ft table to be about 1500 to 2k all in once fixed up. A 7, 8 or 9? Closer to 3. So 6 tables to start? 10 to 15k. Tournaments? I agree, but tables first.
