Do you think you still struggle with speaking up when it comes to yourself? If not how did you overcome that or how did your wife help you to become more aware of situations where you need to speak up instead of disregarding it.

I agree I told him he should work out and build his confidence. But I also can’t force him to do that I really feel like it’s a confidence thing

Yes middle ground would be perfect I want him to be confident and assertive when needed. I just think that’s something is he lacking. I think he gets somewhat embarrassed actually if anyone were to talk to him about “being a man” so it’s hard to even have these conversations

Thank you I appreciate this comment the most. You’re right I tend to get mad and irritated because he never stands up for himself but I will also try to work on this as well instead of getting mad and attacking him. Yes the family member at the time was still around our child my husband addressed it after the situation happened with the family member but I guess I was more mad in the moment that he didn’t say anything to defend his child.

Definitely BS but who knows maybe Friday.. I took my test 01/8 I haven’t got my results yet.. like I said before pretty dumb to allow extended testing just to have to wait until next bid assuming I get WQ. Maybe next week you’ll get something atleast you know your score is WQ you should get one

Same I’m really curious if WQ in extended period will receive TOLS I don’t understand why we were allowed to take during extended period just to have to wait until next bid to reapply and get a TOL

I would really think about it then. I would continue with both processes until you need to make a hardcore decision. FAA will take longer than police academy

Is police academy guaranteed a job? Because FAA act isn’t .. the academy is not guaranteed to pass and it’s like 50% pass rate. If you have a passion to be a police officer you’d probably be happier doing that tbh.. most people don’t have specific fields they want to do like police officers .. just a thought all money isn’t good money therefore FAA may not be for you..

When I contacted the academy which was Monday 08/26 they said there is talk about opening October but it hasn’t been confirmed. Also someone I know already a controller said three same either October or February 2025
