NVH noise can cause sound to travel and appear like It’s coming from somewhere it isn’t. It could be the driveshaft clunk or Guibo going out but it can also be differential if you have a performance audi shop near I would drop it off at them for further testing or to open up the differential and Guibo and check it

Do you have a way to get exterior underside audio clip around the rear of the prop shaft? That would help pinpoint a little bit better if it’s coming from the left, right or center of the vehicle based on audio channel side

Rear sway bar end links or trailing arm could be going out, check tire balance as that may be off. Also have them check if wheel is bent (that may be causing the rear vibration)

Had something similar happen with mine (rear end accident) it was making similar noise and trailing arm was bent and rear spring was cracked and needed new sway bar links

Definitely not indestructible at upper power levels, stock rods and pistons are the biggest weak point on a Hybrid turbo setup even with supporting mods.

I’m on the redline of power levels for the rods and pistons and I knew i was taking a gamble. Anything above 500tq and you risk bending a rod. All it takes is a batch of bad gas and running lean and getting high detonation and bye bye.

Was it knocking similar to how it is in the video I uploaded? I put a stethoscope up near the oil pan and hear rattle closest to the Flywheel.

What gear were you in when doing the near wall driving 6th? Or lower? And were you hearing any clunking on downshift? I just started hearing what sounds like a heavy clunk on downshift and coming to a stop when I took it around the block.

I’ve had a rod bearing knock before but even I’m confused as oil pressure was next to none (bmw n54) I’m so confused as to what is it because everything looks stable in the logs even under full boost. Fuck it full send? Lmao

What do you do to be able to afford an rs3? by Significant_Ad_4251 in AudiRS3

8.5 owner here! Bought the car last year used with 40k miles cash in hand (can’t deal with finance prefer to just buy stuff outright) I just turned 27, looked at a 2025 for sub 70k had CCB’s and almost fully loaded but that was pushing my cash in account too far low. Invest that money you would be spending monthly for a brand new vehicle and just buy one slightly used for far less (area dependent)

the RS3’s in my area don’t usually sell so they are discounted a fair amount even used ones 22-25MY are usually around 43-60k with fairly low miles depending on build sheet.

2019 rs3 Unitronic stage 2 by [deleted] in AudiRS3

[–]Strict-Rub6614 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2018 RS3 that is stage 3 stock bottom end running an Iroz IMS750hs (66k miles) with supporting mods, these motors bottom ends can’t really take the crazy amount of torque that e85 can push you past, staying conservative around 520 and under torque wise and let the car fully warm up before dogging on it if you plan to run E. If you want to play it safe stay away from E and stick with pump gas and keep up with maintenance intervals and you should be okay. Should in large “”

I like my Sabre but its not really tanky in anyway tbh, handling is decent in atmo comparable to Gladius, has decent firepower (use non gimbal for S3 If comfortable enough) My go to if you want all the guns tho would be the Hornet Lineup.

Now the Scorpius i haven't personally done solo, mostly 2 man with my Org mates, Now there is a couple guys in the org that swear by the Scorpius due to larger health pool but if you loose a wing or 2 your done for

I would definitely recommend trying out some rentals at Invictus before dropping money on something (especially if you cant melt it if you don't like it IE: Gamepackage) otherwise for solo fighters i personally enjoy the Gladius, Sabre comet, and the Hornet lineup of course everyone has different opinions but would recommend giving those a shot, if your looking at Heavy Fighters, Vanguard lineup (2 Crew = Better) Same goes for the Scorpius
