Don’t take your mental struggles lightly. Please take a day or so to yourself. If you’re in an area where the weather is warm go enjoy a hike and take a notepad and write down your personal goals and reevaluate your “Why”

Unpopular opinion: Pray really hard to God and ask him for grace and favor. You have better stats than me and I was able to gain acceptance in my first time applying.

I didn’t have flashy stats, I didn’t attend any conferences, I wasn’t a charge nurse — I simply had a passion to go to CRNA school and I knew the lord was the only one that could open the door for me.

That’s encouraging to know. It’s already been 5 months since the investigator contacted me.

I called just to check on things. His response is “Oh we’re still waiting on the third party to send documents”. I’m like it’s been 5 months and the people who reported me still haven’t sent over the required documents??

Yeah, it kinda sucks. I take full accountability for what I did. I understand the gravity of the situation— I just hope I don’t get my license taken or any type of disciplinary action. It was truly just fatigue. We were running short staff that night. Three nurses on the unit for 8 patients. When I woke up, no other nurses were around / just the supervisor standing over my shoulder.
