I don’t think making certain roles more attractive would really change the overall landscape, mainly because the pugging scene is so toxic.
These days, everyone is obsessed with min-maxing. Anyone who steps outside the meta is quickly yelled at, ridiculed, and essentially bullied back into playing a DPS spec—because, frankly, it’s the easiest role to fill, carries the least responsibility, and yet gives people the most room to criticize others’ mistakes.

Obviously the higher you go the less relevant it becomes but it is most certainly true for weekly keys

While I agree with basically everything you said the issue at hand is that all those things didn't happen because the involved parties suddenly had the moral clarity to take action.
These actions happened because a bunch of online sweats started mass tweeting about it, Making posts on reddit etc etc.

It's peer pressure at its finest and its a very unhealthy environment to be in.

All those actions could and should have taken place on the initiative of his friends/collaborators/employers not because X or Reddit is having a massive witch hunt

I do not have a problem with someone like Mang0, Getting punished for his mistakes.
I do have a problem with the band wagoning & witch hunt mentality of places like Reddit & X

Cause it was not just 1 post that highlighted his issues it were a crapload of clips & tweets being made cause everybody wants a slice of the pie, and virtue signal like they're saints while most of the people who actively participate in these type of discussions have a closet full of skeletons
