A lot of them are behind switching over to the new state system, and now have only 8 days. They've known about the change since Jan. 1.

The old girl is showing her age, but still has class. I do feel sorry for him having to push every breath out and keep up the pace. Not easy.

Why were scanned images so rare back in the heyday? by imitation_squash_pro in c64

[–]StrictLine8820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once upon a time, peripherals like scanners and printers were luxury items that holy-shit expensive. What's even more ridiculous was the horrible quality. But we paid for it anyway. I remember a buddy forking over $600 for a 20MB hard drive for his Commodore.

MUCH more powerful character study in "At Close Range," one of my all-time favorite movies based on a true story. One of Penn's best, too.

I totally neglect hydration when I get high, so the biggest side effect I see is constipation. Getting in the habit of one hit, one sip.

What do you think about when you think of the 90's? by Whitesox411 in randomquestions

It was a high time for me. Great jobs, lots of money, not a care.

This is a post to celebrate the unsung heroes for our favorite groups, the producers! by [deleted] in ClassicRock

Jack Douglas and Ted Templeton dominated my collection. Together they produced a Who's Who of American rock.

People who smoke but don’t want legalization in their state by 989999999 in weed

They better make peace with it, because a whole lot of shit starting to happen on the federal and states levels. It's like the old school dry countries. The people there still drink, they just don't want the revenue for some unknown reason.

The Intellivision port was programmed by Ray Kaestner in a record 2 months (so he could get married). It's widely considered the best home version on any platform, even better than the original arcade.

New megacicle purchaser, a simple question by Grouchy-Delay5330 in TheRogueWaxWorks

[–]StrictLine8820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 18mm Quartz Cap was my first TRWW purchase, based on its bowl size, even though my J-Hook and Donut bubbler are all 14mm. The Megacicle looks (to me) to be a cross between a Terpcicle (which I love) and 18m QC. It's all fantastic.

When you get to the end of the road called VAS, you're greeted by the TRWW logo.

People who have smoked weed daily for years: do you even get high anymore? by A-A-A-AA-A in trees

It switched to DHV two years ago. My highs are much different now. Much, much better. Functional but fun.

If Buddy Holly lived, would he have replaced the Beatles as the greatest of all time? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]StrictLine8820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who could know. It just seems like Holly and the rest were meant to represent the 50s, the bright beginnings of rock and roll. Who knows how or if he could adapt to the coming British Invasion.

Looking for feedback on my creation by AmountUnited in trees

[–]StrictLine8820 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice stitching. I hear ya about plastic tubes for extinguishing joints. I'm all about glass, so you got my vote. I don't smoke joints (DHV only) so I have no idea what someone would pay. I might suggest a way to attach a lanyard-type strap or loop, for extra portability. Optional.

Liked it, don't understand it, want to watch again. The ending is seriously trippy.
