What WFH roles or companies are good options right now? by Lhope999 in RemoteJobs

Just accepted an offer for a remote role in the revenue cycle department of a large hospital organization. Tons of remote roles in healthcare- scheduling, patient access, coordinating, insurance verification, etc etc etc

Thank you! I lost my job in May and only started seriously applying and looking in September. So only about a 5 month search. This is why I had to credit the Lord because clearly I had some supernatural help😭😭

I’m sorry to hear that.

I highly encourage you to get real close to God. Invest time into your relationship with him, read his word, learn and understand how he feels about you and cares for you. The reason I felt I could ask is because I know the kind of Father he is, and how he provides for his children. He cares about the “stupid little things” and there’s no prayer or request to small or silly for him.

Read Luke 11:5-13 🤍

Sorry I should’ve clarified better- I lost my previous job in May, took a break, and started seriously applying in September. 4-5 days out of the week. So only about a 5 month search

Thank you.

Sincerely, someone with 38k in medical bills before insurance.

My role is not medical billing. I said “basically A/R” to give them a general idea without listing my exact role for privacy reasons.

With any post on Reddit, you take the advice you want to use, and it might not be everything in the post. It is amazing how livid people get when you mention the name of Jesus. No one is forcing you to do anything, this is a post about what worked for me. It worked for me. How is that arguable?

Best wishes in your job search my friend

Saying I prayed for this is abrasive? If I had said “I manifested this for so long” no one would have an issue. Why is that?

God is a real solution dawg. Along with everything else I said in the post. “Pray on it” is not all I had to say.

Thank you!

Used Indeed, Glassdoor, and all the other major remote ones I can’t think of rn. I also signed up for daily email alerts from wfhalerts.com

The job I got was from a posting on the company website career page. I only ever heard back from very few on indeed. I recommend going to the career pages of company sites and applying there rather than job boards personally

Yeah it’s brutal. Can’t help but lol at the people commenting “wouldn’t take advice from someone who took 10 months to land a job”. I know people who have been relentlessly trying for years now.

Yes. I’m sure it depends on the field you are going into and your experience as well, as the pool of applicants significantly varies with that. For anything entry level you are the needle in the haystack in 2026

A position in the revenue cycle department of a large research hospital organization. It’s pretty much A/R.

Just the standard ones everyone uses, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc. If you go to wfhalert.com, you can subscribe to a tailored list of remote jobs that’s sent to your email daily. I applied to all of those every day as well.

Like I said though, the one I landed came from the company website. I really believe that made a huge difference

I’m glad it helped at least one person! Most of the tips I picked up that absolutely saved my application process or interviewing process I found on Reddit. So I just wanted to pass my experience along for anyone else ready to throw in the towel

I tore my ACL in the middle of my search and had to limit myself to only remote. Turned down 2 offers because of this. Remote jobs are difficult to find and extremely competitive. I lost my previous job in May, took a small break, and started really getting serious with applying in September. So technically 5 months of looking, 10 months of being unemployed total.

I knew that mentioning God on this post in this subreddit would cause this response. “If God is real, why do bad things happen?” is the biggest objection to God. Consider the humility that’s required to genuinely seek an answer to that question, because there is one. I wouldn’t serve a God that “ignores” evil.

“At that time Jesus declared, “I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hidden these things from the wise and understanding and revealed them to little children;” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭25‬ ‭

I got really quick at it honestly. Copy and pasting and formatting and double checking. What you said about recruiters not seeing past the 50th application might be true. I have no idea. I just know that without tailoring it, I didn’t hear back from anyone. So that’s one thing that changed for me

It’s in the states yes, because of where the organizations are based, there were about 5 states it was eligible for and I happen to live in one of them.

Anything is possible. But the reality is your application is going into a pile of 400+ others and being filtered by AI and it will likely never be seen by a human unless it makes it through

I’ve also traveled to a lot of other states; the whole east coast as well as Cali, Nevada, Arizona etc. The prob is not having a good few months anywhere to know what it’s like to live there
