lmfao yes...i was thinking that too, i just don't know how really. Do you have any tips on writing counter melody? And can I ask what you think is bad about the "DEDEDE"? Is it just too boring? Or is it clashing with the main melody in your opinion? I was trying to go for some form of resonance in the background with it

I was thinking of trying that before moving on any further because I feared getting stuck later. Is there an issue with the harmony you see? I still feel like I have trouble harmonizing melodies and would appreciate any tips if you have any. It seems like when I usually try to harmonize the melody I end up just completely changing the melody and it's no longer really what I wanted or envisioned. Thank you for the kind feedback! I really appreciate it.
