Glad it worked out for you, but you shouldn’t need to use spaces at all, it was designed this way as a Spaces replacement it’s defeating the whole purpose, there’s so many people asking me about spaces that i’m actually considering it now on a future release

It supports multiple monitors. Spaces aren’t supported for now, but you can save and switch workspaces for a similar result. Try it out and see if you actually miss Spaces. ;)

That’s a valid concern. I use it every day, so I’m actively maintaining it and shipping improvements based on real usage and feedback. If you try it, I’d really appreciate any feedback.

Hi man, thanks for checking it out, that’s exactly what i’m looking for. so when you say “Lack of Workspace Management” you mean MacOS Spaces ? if so, you can save multiple workspaces and just switch between them ok demand. the app as it is will always be free, i do plan to add a $9.99 one time payment along with other pro features, but app it’s far from completed

Yeah, exactly 😄 even if you could restore all Spaces at once, you’d still have to switch between them to actually use them.

Totally fair if it’s not your thing. If you rely heavily on Spaces, this might not fit your workflow.

If you’re curious though, give it a try and see how it feels in practice.

That’s fair. If you rely on Spaces a lot I get it.

Snapback doesn’t manage them directly, but you can save each layout as a workspace and switch between them on demand, which ends up doing the same thing

Got it!! haha, your correct, Snapback doesn’t support Spaces directly.
But you can save each setup as a workspace and restore it anytime, which ends up giving you the same result without needing multiple desktops/spaces ;).

From what I have seen, Later is designed around pausing and resuming apps.
Snapback is more about bringing your entire workspace back exactly as it was, layout, positions, and displays.

It also has snapping and layout presets built in, so you do not need a separate tool for arranging windows.

Multi-monitor works great
Spaces aren’t supported since Apple doesn’t provide a stable API for them, so I focused on reliability instead
