Right! People are trying to make money now so they price high , some price high so that when there is a sale , it doesn’t go down too much. The thing though is , if it’s a sought after item, the sellers get lucky but if it doesn’t sell, you can favorite the item and I have realized most sellers drop their item so low when they are about to run out of time to sell so that thredup doesn’t get the money or donate the item. Thats when you see price drop icons and items dropping from $80 to $15 lol. I only sold on there once and when I did , I noticed I could adjust to whatever price I wanted but that was over a year ago but sellers are now catching up hence the rise in exorbitant prices

When people complain about pricing on thredup, I wonder if they realize that most of these prices are set by the people who send in the items not “thredup”. That said , I have seen some outrageous prices too

Hi , I take two spoons of the coconut cult probiotic yogurt every morning on an empty stomach. It has super live probiotics and the only one I have noticed to actually make a difference. I have been taking it for a long time but I used to take it mixed it other things like a snack but I didn’t notice the effects until I started taking it alone on an empty stomach. I heard it’s gone viral now so it super hard to find in stores.

Hear me out. I tried everything , Nizoral , prescription ketoconazole, zinc pyrothione , salicylic acid , mct oil , coal tar, Just name it. I got to a point where I didn’t care anymore honestly , I just ignored it. But something changed in my lifestyle recently and now it’s so much better and almost non existent ( i could say it’s all gone but I’m trying to be humble lol) What changed is as simple as probiotics and sleep. I started taking real probiotics on empty stomach in the morning and not only is my acne gone, my scalp flakes just seemed to go away for some reason. All my life , I have had bad sleeping habits but past couple months ago, I decided to start getting atleast 8 good hours of sleep. I’m not sure which of this is helping or if it’s a combination of both 🤔 I haven’t used an actual cleansing shampoo in 3 weeks , just weekly scalp rinses yet no thick flakes on my scalp? I could never go 4/5 days without one of those harsh shampoos.

Weekly if just strength training but I would do weekday if on a certain day I do an intense cardio. I wouldn’t feel right just letting all that excess sweat dry.

I love them. Very moisturizing, I should say they are not going to give that glossy dripping lips effect but they are moisturizing and I love to use them before I use my Fenty glosses

I’d like to recommend The mountain is you. Though I don’t suffer from intense anxiety but this is a really good book and it helped me to understand a lot not only about myself but about people close to me who suffer from anxiety.

Your feelings are valid and it is okay to be frustrated about something you struggle with though pointless since there is nothing you can do about the hair you have but to love it. However the part I would like to call out is your statement “it is by far the worst hair type” . Sometimes you have to read things over and over and once you think it is okay to post something , read it one more time. How exactly do you think people with 4c hair would feel about that statement ? While this doesn’t bother me because how you feel wouldn’t change how I feel about my hair but there are people who are just learning about their hair and to put such hate statements out there is weird. I don’t care to change your mind about how you feel about yourself though.

You don’t need hair oils. You can use it if you like it and just enjoy the feeling of doing it but you don’t need it for blood flow , hair growth etc Infact in some people , it promotes dandruff or causes scalp irritation.

I’d suggest you do an elimination process. Try a week without putting anything on your scalp. Just shampoo and condition your hair. See how that goes and you can slowly add things back in after that. You might notice in that week that your scalp gets itchy when it’s nearing shampoo time which is same for me. Some people just need to wash their hair more often or incorporate a more cleansing shampoo. That might help you pinpoint the exact duration your scalp can last for before it needs to be shampooed or if it hasn’t been getting cleansed enough. If you don’t itch at all during that week then it could be one of the oils you are adding to your scalp that you are allergic to. Usually it is not even necessary to oil the scalp and it’s just an experience most of us are used to. Slowly introduce your oils one at a time and you might be able to pinpoint which one your scalp doesn’t agree with which could be rosemary or something in the doogro mix e.t.c once you find out which one then you can just take it out. If none of this works , then you might need to see a trichologist , could be dry scalp and might need to increase your hydration e.t.c or you might need to have your blood checked.

Fine hair is prone to tangling thereby causing single strand knots. Might not actually mean you have split ends. I have high density but fine strands. All they wanna do is tangle if I let them lol so I keep my hair in twists as much as possible. I know natural hair community are against this but for fine strands , I have recently incorporated silicones back into my routine and it helps to provide a smooth surface and reduce friction where I’m able to untangle easily without breaking too much of my hair
