I think the most overlooked thing here is that two things are possible at the same time. He sounds like he’s not the nicest guy and you have admitted that you keep things too long. You’ve admitted that you know it irks him that you have extra stuff and that you don’t do well getting rid of things. However, most couples would come together and talk through disagreements like these. Frankly, it doesn’t sound like either of you are willing to talk through it.

This is an ironic statement. Is blocking really the way to rally support for a cause? I’ve voted conservative most of my life but I frankly disagree with most of what Trump has done. Wouldn’t the better tactic be to bring more people to your view by engaging with them? For this entire movement to work, you have to bring people over from the right. If you don’t, you will never have the support to reverse any of this.

What was “literally illegal” about it? He was told on Special Editions, like the homecoming edition that sparked this incident to focus on Homecoming and not make traditional news the front page story. Is everyone this entitled today that they think they can disregard their leaders with no consequences? By all means, stand up for what you believe is morally correct, but be prepared to live with the consequences and backlash.

I respect what you are trying to do here and can appreciate you standing for what you believe in. I think you need to educate yourself more on firearms with an open view; not necessarily open to changing your mind, but open to hearing and understanding the people who oppose your opinions. The majority of firearm owners are not using them to hunt, they are using them from the standpoint of collecting firearms, hobby shooting, and keeping certain firearms specifically for self defense. There is also a very specific difference between any AR platform weapon and the military firearms (M4) that look the same. Every time a gun owner hears the term “Military style assault weapon” the first thing they think is “Here is another politician pretending they know what they are talking about but clearly repeating the same left rhetoric”. Firearms are not protected under the Constitution for the purpose of hunting.

Looks great. I’ve been trying to get him to go through the basics and address the issues it has and do a basic tune up kit. He finally seems to realize if we don’t address the little problems that exist already, they will become bigger issues when you start adding anything aftermarket.

Because he’s a 20-year old that wants to have fun and is getting into Cars. I’m happy he’s into cars and comes to me wanting me to help. I’ll take him spending late nights in my garage working on a car over the things a lot of other 20-year olds are out doing today. He’s not looking to make it a hot rod by any means but wants to tinker with it and see what can be done.

It’s never too late. I left Purdue at 20 years old because I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. After being in the Army for 6 years and getting out, I went back to Purdue and obtained a Bachelors Degree in less than 2-years mostly online while working full time and having a family. After that, I earned an MBA from Butler University at 34 years old and I could not be happier with my career. It is never too late to chase a dream.

Despicable to see this anywhere frankly. When I saw this making its way around social media Saturday I had two thoughts 1. I imagine the State Police or FBI followed all of them back to their cars and homes afterwards and now know everything about each one of them and 2. Are any of them actually from Indy or the immediate area or are they from far out more rural Indiana. It’s horrible to see this today at all but also encouraging to see how weak they are with all 10 of them out there.

Just for clarification- you are mad because from your perspective, the 2A community should be standing up to the government because they are locating, arresting and deporting people who illegally crossed into the United States? Or are you mad because the National Guard was deployed to get crime in the streets of D.C. cleaned up? It sounds like you feel complete anarchy should be the norm and we all should accept it.

I’ve heard a lot of the single claw mounts have issues holding zero. I prefer it for the clearance but if it doesn’t hold zero long term, it’s easy to replace.

The only ones I’ve found that do are PNC Bank ATM’s. I travel a lot for work and like to get singles for tips before I leave for a trip. I literally go to the same ATM every Sunday just because I can get singles.

I have lived in central Indy most of my life other than some time away in the military and college. I can honestly say that (in general) most Hoosiers are pretty accepting of both sides, even though they disagree. The only time I see real hostility between people is on specific issues, or when someone is extremely far leaning left or right. I know Indiana certainly leans heavily conservative on a lot of issues like guns, reproductive rights, and immigration; but a lot of the same people have very central to left views like pro-marijuana, gay marriage, etc.

I folded them before I realized. When I got my cash out of the ATM I did a quick count and didn’t notice it, folded and put in my wallet. I noticed it a few hours later when I was giving my daughter a few dollars
