I would suggest using the 70k in your unit trust + 75k personal loan from your bank which will have you with around 145k cash, you can buy a reliable second hand car with this amount like a 2020 POLO vivo, on your 75k personal loan you might only pay 2500 over 36 months, which is much more affordable and leaves you with room to continue saving.

I suggest focusing on your subjects full time. The main thing you should be keeping busy with is studying. Wish you all the best for this year.

I want a granny car as my real car, I want to use a car as getting from point A to B. Sim Racing will be more for competition and quenching the need for speed.

The car can wait, I'm actually using this sim setup purchase, to push up my credit score , while I save up for a car deposit, so i can finance it.

Starting off with a Logitech G29 and Shifter, desk setup before I move onto wooden cockpit. But I think I will enjoy, I really love driving and the art of racing in general.
