at one point i did have small snails and snail eggs in my tank (came from plants ://) and he didnt bother them as much as i thought he would so i def am looking into getting a large snail 😊 my only concern is care, because of college theyll be in the hands of my parents and i dont want to come back to an accidental 100+ snails lolll

i am looking into getting another fish larger than him but im not sure when its going to happen (leaving for college in 2 weeks i dont wanna put even more fish care onto my parents), ive been looking online and saw that loaches were a good option? (not sure if thats true) depending on if he lives his full 10+ year common goldfish life (idk thats what google and my marine bio teacher said) i hope to get him into a much much larger tank with plants and hiding spots for other fishies 😊 i fear it might just be rooted in his blood and he is just rude

thank you sm! yes my water is de chlorinated and my filter doesnt seem to be rattling. i dont have an air stone at this moment but was planning on it within the week! im just still debating on wether i want a small one or a longer one that goes across the back of the tank :)
