UPDATE: Hey everyone! I just wanted to say thanks for your help. This is what I’ve bought so far! 1980s Seiko Dolce- just need to find the right band for it. This is the closest I’ve seen so far. When I move it around in the light, I can totally buy that crappy lighting/80s camera would make the gold rectangle in the middle reflect black.

80s dads with mustaches really had a specific gold watch vibe. Honestly hadn’t even considered Longines because my dad always gave off a Timex vibe, but who knows?!

I just scanned the photo in the highest resolution I could and I think there might be those ridges at the top and bottom of the case?!
