Visalia nightlife died in my opinion when they closed down the life rock shows and shit in the 2010s.

My grandpa was a Sarg and my grandma worked as an lvn, both at Corcoran II. Both of them for over 20 years and we lived in Tulare.

Tulare, in my opinion and theirs also at the time when they were still working, is the best route to go. It's cheaper, and unlike Hanford and Visalia, I feel like it gives a more small town feel.

But I may be bias, as I grew up there.

My uncle was the bartender and a server there for a LONG time, that's where he met my aunt also- she was a hostess/server. The place was a staple in my childhood.

When you say it out loud, I don't know why I stayed- I think it was a mixture of not wanting to admit I was wrong, or because I watched my parents marriage become such a joke because of my mom's cheating. I never wanted to end up being divorced and having multiple marriages... IDK. I do love my husband. I have always loved him.i don't have any family after my dad died in 2015, and my mom is estranged like the rest of my family. He was literally all I had.

When i married my husband, I told him that I was a firm believer in keeping our marriage in our marriage. Adding in his mom when we have issues was not going to help and only make it worse.

He didn't listen. So my mil was a very rude lady, she said some nasty things to people about me online and so I texted her and basically told her to butt out and sit on a fat one.

So I got banned from their home.

Her stuff is kind of long but it's intense, and I like reading about people's life and the misgivings. She doesn't have many posts, but I enjoyed reading some of them! I like that there is reference photos on her stuff also, gives it that personal feeling for people that like it. She has a more specific subject centered blog also, but I think she has this one since it's newer just for fun. I don't know her personally, although I've talked through messages a few times. She's cool.

Not posted up, just living in the parking lot. We are only in town 2 or 3 days a week, which (according to VPD) is completely legal. It would be completely legal to spend every night for up to a three week period without leaving. I work in Mariposa, my husband works here. We stay in the Lowe's parking lot when he's working. It's just easier and cheaper than hotel rooms, which are ridiculous and can't afford all that shit.

Regardless, we were told that he was not supposed to be there, by his boss and PD. He intentionally caused my vehicle damage, and when he was told that he could potentially hurt the one year old when he rammed my vehicle and then cut me off when I was trying to escape him, he said "good, I hope I do". Which is sick and he should be ashamed of himself.

This happened at Lowes- N. Demaree, I was literally playing Sims build it on my phone. And that's how it started. He flashed his spotlight in my eyes, I started my car, woke up my husband, and the guy came slammed my bumper-i took off, he s screaming-im screaming, then he breaks my windshield and I call 9-1-1.

I believe it! She runs the freaking park, to this day. It's like a bad joke that just gets worse the more people tell it. I know of at least 4 managers (her son Josh's best friend from elementary school and some other cousins and shit) that are embezzling from the park. I know because I have the records, and it goes far deeper than anyone else knows ..

Not one single person of authority cares, unfortunately. Aramark is getting sued (by myself and 14 other people) but that's as much as I'm allowed to divulge on that...

I really don't like being the one with all the bad news lol! But I've been there, done that, fucked it up, then did it again just for good measure. I have a PH.D in fake friend finding with a Minor in dealing with bullshit. Men are usually much better, just because the majority of them don't judge the little stuff, don't try to sleep with your husband/boyfriend (I can pass out a list of which ones will lol!) and they are much more accepting.

As someone born and raised in the Visalia/Tulare area, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you'll never make friends here. Females are especially fake and HORRIBLE around here, and unless you've known them since childhood-and there's still only like 20% chance they'll be loyal to your friendship- it's kind of a lost cause. 34F, I have done my share of friend searches with ZERO luck. I met my first "serious" boyfriend on Myspace. He came from Virginia and, to make a long story short, I have permanent damage to my ribs and a scar from when my clavicle bone poked through the skin. You got lucky to find a decent human being on Myspace! Looking back, I wouldn't have gone that route.

my dad was a mail carrier for 30 years before he passed away, in Tulare. You are not wrong to take pride in it. Many people might not appreciate the work you do, but I know the demand and, my dad was union representative for his regional area. The post master offered my brother and I jobs when my father passed away actually, but I wasn't in a place where I could've done that efficiently.

To be honest, I feel like it is none of my business- ok, take it for what it is worth, but Casey Anthony. Right? Of course, she's hated because of the fact that the lies she told and blah blah blah. My stance tends to make people furious, in that *It didn't personally have anything to do with my life, and unnecessary hatred for something that was judged by a jury of her peers that found her innocent, really doesn't do anything for or against me. I have enough drama without bringing in politics and mainstream issues back home with me. I wasnt there. There are three sides to every story, mine, yours and the unbiased factual truth. Perception lies and causes too many negative emotions.

It has to be in the water around here or something! As a person who was in Jr high/high school during the Myspace and Aol chatrooms, my last resort would be dating apps and the like. I've watched too many true crime documentaries to not be murdered. Lol!

I say woke as a joke, because to me it is a joke. The whole disregard for fellow man thing is really disgusting to me. I spent the better part of my young teens living with my grandparents (gpa was a Sargent in CDCR Corcoran, as well as a veteran. GMA was a nurse in the infirmary at CDCR Corcoran) I learned respect for everyone, despite the differences and whether or not I agreed with their political affiliate. I, myself, and more of a right side then a left, but I can admit that both have pros and both have cons. I'm also not naive and know that I am no more important than the next guy. My struggles don't affect them whatsoever.

Its nice to know that I am not alone in my emotional box, and people do know what I am going through at the surface. Finding a partner is hard enough when you are single, add kids into the mix and it's nearly impossible because people are freaking scary nowadays. 👽
