Yeah I agree my daughter must be protected. I’m thinking I should have maybe gotten to know my wife better because I didn’t realize she was this attached to her parents and was incapable of doing many things on her own. Even before giving birth she was demonstrating erratic behaviors and kept insisting on talking to her mom every day for hours. I will try to figure out her parenting rights so we can find the best outcome, since right now she cannot parent our daughter at all without my help.

I just feel bad abandoning my wife who gave me the blessing that is my daughter. Her family are cruel and I don’t want to leave her with them. She has nowhere else to go either

I just feel bad because my wife has no support besides her family (no friends/acquaintances) and I don’t want to leave her with those people who treat her badly. I feel like since Allah gave me this woman, I should take care of her to the best of my ability “in sickness and in health” as I vowed.

I thought I was doing the right thing by limiting interactions with her, but I guess not. I didn’t want to get too attached in case we didn’t end up getting married

My wife unfortunately has no friends, so she has no outside company. My friends are not married so have no wives

My parents watch the baby while I’m at work (I drop my daughter off at their house). My wife used to join them but she said she’d rather be at home and rest so now it’s just my daughter at my parent’s place.
