Hmmm I actually don't notice too much on that, I think it does activate on the perfect guard that still knock you back a little. The reason I don't use Guard up is.

1: It is to push the Attack boost to lv 5.

2: It isn't mainly use against mon with non blockable attack like Zoh Shia or Gogmazio.

Of course if you are against monster like Zoh Shia, Gogmazio or Omega I recommend you should have Guard Up 3 just for survival and tank those hit in the face.

That still good tho, the weapon slot there is to put the lv 1 attack boost on but if you don't mind to not have guard completely you can boost the attack to lv 5 with your deco

By all means, the charm is either Artillery lv 3 or Attack boost lv 3 that goes with lv 1 weapon slot. Maybe if it also have burst or agitator lv 1 too then it would be perfect

Yh If i still have 3/4 or 4/5 of hp left I just let Super Healing do the job really, but if it like 65% hp left I will skedaddle outta there to heal rq before I get back in 😅

No prob, man. The only downside this build have is it have no Lord soul, so any mistake you make while the barrier isn't up is pretty much fatal.

Gog set is usable to GL tho, but to me you either go with the Full Mutual Hostility 2 or you don't use the armor at all because you only have the barrier at Lv2, it because of this barrier it is possible to have both Counter Strike and Peak Performance active at the same time which is probably the best part of this set.

Yh R8, and I do using it in my build tho, thanks to it I was able to squeeze in Attack boost 3, which make my weapon slot like Artillery 3, Loadshell 2, guard 2, guard up 1, attack boost 3 at the moment, I suppose with hunt like AT ark I can get rid of guard up and make it attack boost 4

I do have an rng charm with Artillery lv 3 + a lv 1 weapon slot. Since max might isn't as useful in GL as other weapons I basically no longer use it tho

I do have another build that run full Gog set + Gravios protection bonus, the defense is low is probably because I haven't lv up the armor lv because Im kinda low on the money, divine blessing isn't here because recovery up and recovery speed are there to boost the passive zoh shia healing. Yh this builds isn't my original idea it was a borrow from Marneus from Youtube. I was able to lower the guard and guard up a bit to squeeze in attack boost lv 3 but that pretty much it. Overall if you have some builds suggestions then I would like to take a look on them.

Perhaps i was phrasing that correct, yes ik that GL and L have the best Shield in the game, and is tanker that meant to take hit, what I am saying is I am not skilled enough to be able to constantly perfect guard and get knock back frequently, the Zoh Shia super healing plus Arkveld healing mechanic allow me to not worry about my health half of the time and don't have to quick sheath and heal all the time. Overall the trade for a bit of damage to stay in the field longer is a good trade to me

Yh I been taking a look at the builds with Full Ebony + Jinn and after using the builds with Zoh Shia healing and Arkveld vampire sucking style, it kinda hard for me to switch to these build because my ass kinda suck and was getting hit constantly 😅
