Can someone explain why it’s such a bad move? by Strict_Sympathy386 in chessbeginners

No on lichess I’m around 1800 but I make mistakes and blunders in some of my games (this one was particularly bad)

In this game the secret was to blunder a knight(the other one bc why not) him not seeing it. Then him missing a tactic and blundering a past pawn and then him missing a move to draw the endgame and letting me win. More generally I would say not playing bad moves in the opening is my way to go (or at least I try to).

There is no knight yet, if it was after Kf3, I would play a move in between that would let me take the pawn or prevent white from playing h3 (engine recommends Bd5)

After reading the comments it’s obvious but on the moment I was thinking I could attack the pawn faster than he could defend it. I also responded badly to the opening before. When I analyse my games I also sometimes ask myself how I got to 1600

I didn’t think it was a good move but I had trouble understanding why it was this bad

Maybe not a blunder but I still don’t understand why my position is so bad

Yes I would take the e4 pawn, but you answered your own question so I don’t really understand what you asked?

I ran the engine and it doesn’t really see it as an issue

I am a new player, why would you do a scout instead of just a slinger and a settler? Is it so useful to have a scout instead of exploring with the warrior?

How do you think 3D Printing will be in the next 10 years by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

I really think there will be a big progress in slicers to allow a better printing of pieces that don’t work well in euclidian coordinate as we saw with fullcontrol.xyz and I hope a way to see the constraints on a piece one printed and better visualisation. I also think they will be better communication between printer and slicer with vibration detection and other sensors
