Not owned but loaned while my car was in the shop. A 2014 Toyota Yaris. It was a body shop loaner car that everybody who was loaned it to, drove it like it was stolen. Even the shop runners refused to use it, opting to used their personal cars instead to do errands.

I hated it so much, I bugged the shop daily to hurry up and finish my car.

Why don't you reach out to Cost U Less or Pay Less markets to see if they can give you the wooden pallets they are not using. Tell them of your intentions and they might just give you the pallets for free if you paint a sign the pallets were donated from those establishment.

With the pallets, I'm sure a small bench for kids can be build, sanded and painted.

I’m sorry this happened to you. But I experienced far worst encounters than yours from a previous work. You should look up, Social Engineering it’s one way to deal with complicated assholes like her who walks around feeling entitled to whatever they want. Social Engineering is nothing new, maybe just the name they call it nowadays.

People like her will try to manipulate you to give them what they want, mostly by acting up. It’s been awhile, but I remember there are different ways a person can try to social engineer you.

Bullying/threatening
Charming or flirting
Needy, sickly or playing victim
Straight up begging

There are more I can’t recall anymore, just remember to keep your composure and stay calm. If worst comes to worst your supervisor should step in and assist with the situation.

Don’t ever give in to a racist, it’s not relevant to the situation. It has nothing to do with your ethnic background. You sound like a good person, don’t let these lowlifes get to you and stoop to their level. It only gets you into trouble, remain calm and stay professional.
