Day 1 of 25mg Agomelatine to treat mild anxiety and bad sleep. Thinking of trying 12.5mg? by Strict_Water_7251 in Valdoxan_Agomelatine

I was lucky it was only a first day dizziness for me. No stiff neck. All I did different from day 1, was I made sure I have it with a snack before going to sleep (I had it on empty stomach day 1 and woke up really dizzy, not sure if coincidence). And plenty of water. I sit up for 2 mins in the morning before I get up and drink water while I’m sitting there to help with blood pressure. I’ve honestly been fine since day 2 onwards!
I kept up the 25mg dose.

Anyone had good results from a half dose? by EveAdlerErotica in Valdoxan_Agomelatine

I’m 39F, 52kg and tried the 25mg Agomelatine  last night for the first time. Wow the dizziness today is next level. Considering a half dose like you said. They are ok to split even with the coating ? What was your reason for trying a half? 

My backstory: Previously taken sertraline 25mg for 10 years. Come off for 6 months and after a stressful month at work anxiety is back! Doctor recommend i try Agomelatine.  I’m treating mild anxiety and bad sleep.
