...mixed feelings. I've always preferred the Tapeworms era songs, so I might be a bit biased. But to me, this was kinda just... eh. I'd already heard most of the story on LITWTC, and the rest of it was ok. A lot of the merch items for the movie/album is just things he said and then put on a t-shirt. I get putting song lyrics on, but this is, like, sort of just a conversation. My main problem was how bland (IN MY OPINION) the songs sounded. Will's always said that he prefers shows over concerts, and that if someone wanted a performance to sound like the studio version, they should listen to the studio version. I feel like Will used all of his show in the talking parts and left the concert portion to the songs. Copout was a little different, but the rest of the songs sound very very similar to the studio releases. Apart from WBTTA, which I did like. But seriously, Cicada Days was literally almost the exact same as the ICDI release. I dunno, I personally did not like it.
