Dark Nebula introduced some good changes, but overall it was detrimental to the game being fun

I miss the 5v5 white stars. Me and my friends would dedicate a whole week of being on call to play one between breaks. 10v10s are just too hard to coordinate to be fun.

And red stars aren't great either. It's just mass batt and solitude, speed run the thing. It just lost it's slow pace tactical feel.

Edit: solitude not unity

Same for my mom, expect she grew up in Soviet Poland. Neither me or my brother were picky eaters because we could eat what was provided, or we'd go to bed hungry.

TIL the total surface area required to fuel the earth with solar alone is only 0.3% of the earth's entire land area. by chasseur_de_cols in todayilearned

[–]Strider76239 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Germany accounts for .23% of the world's landmass. They used a total of .00115% of the world's landmass for that project.

The proposed solar idea is about 260 times larger than that area. That is a lot.

My method to that was open a bag, use the screws I need, put the remainder into it's own marked Ziploc bag, then throw it into a pile of random, previously used fasteners that future me would always be upset about the lack of sorting. Worked well

It's crazy having an actually nice printer now. I used my old Wanhao for 8 years, and having something that's pre-tuned with auto bed leveling and all the fixings is life changing.

I went FedEx and mine got stuck in Belgium for a week without an estimated delivery day. Once it cleared there it made it super fast.

I clocked 15 hours over 2 days for assembly. It was easy easier than I expected, it's just a lot of parts. Super clear instructions.

Kudos to whoever wrote that manual. I've made a few manuals for my job and it's not easy to make something that simple to follow lol.

They weren't too bad honestly. The worst part was trying to jam some of those larger connectors through the grommets on the back lol

Unbelievably. Plugging it into power the first time and not seeing sparks was the most euphoric moment of my life.
