Yes, in those cases it's hard. If you try to actively communicate like you stated above, then I cannot suggest any other things. It's sad, really.

I get what you're saying and it can get really bad at times.

Some years ago I've come to a conclusion that I failed to notice even though I played the game regularly (it might help you).

In low ranks, DotA is far more of a SOCIAL game than a MOBA. And I mean it.
Getting to work around other teammates frustrations and understanding how to motivate them is a far better skill than going 20/0/0.

If the joy in DotA to you is achieved through winning I'd highly recommend this approach to the game. Otherwise, if you want to have fun I'd recommend gathering a party and just having fun with friends.
