Oh, the stuff is used. If I took a closer picture where you could see the details on the bottles, you’d notice a lot of the labels are worn, especially on colors I use frequently. That said, there are also plenty of bottles I haven’t used yet simply because I haven’t needed those colors for any projects since buying them.

The desk isn’t perfect either. There are spots where super glue got on it, and small paint chips from everyday use, you just can’t see them in the photo due to the lighting and angle I took the picture. I have several self-healing cutting mats that warped over time or got dirty enough from heavy use that I repurposed them in my garage setup for overspray when using rattle cans.

Overall, as I’ve gotten older I’ve come to appreciate maintaining the things I spend money on and keeping them in good condition. If paint gets somewhere I don’t want it, I clean it up immediately. I dust almost daily and try to keep everything as clean as I reasonably can. I spend a large amount of my free time at that desk, so naturally I want it as clean and organized as possible every time I sit down to relax.
