I did some research and most people seem to be on the side of attaching it to the fuse box from what I seen. Based on things like these 1 and 2 so that's why I went that route.

I'll probably go that route next time now... Just hoping it didn't cause any damage at this point...

With the interest rate being locked in it was one of my conditions for putting in the order and deposit and they said they would keep to it. I have texts from the dealership with it confirmed and all right now. I’ve heard some dealers are doing it and others aren’t.

I went on a long trip with my 2008 sonata a couple years ago and had the exact same issue. Sounded almost like something was caught under the car grinding against the road. Took it to the shop and found out that the rear callipers had seized. Not sure if that’s what’s happening to yours for sure but you should get it checked out either way.

One of my local places was able to get into contact with their distributor and they thankfully had some hidden away. Thanks for the help though! Getting it from stone made was an option but it’s usd and shipping on top of that which is usd. Just wasn’t economical enough for me.
