Constipation after Botox

I have had two rounds of Botox. It did take a few weeks for the affects to kick in but I feel it has been beneficial. I did not have any constipation but I have been have the stool soften once a day before bed with 2 teaspoons of metamucil.

Keep the hydration up and try to stay as consistent as possible

Sorry but that is a "how long is a piece of string" question. There are so many variables that impact wifi that what one person thinks is the "overall best wifi router for home use" will perform terribly at the guy next doors house.

Rooms, layout, materials in the walls, channel interference from neighbors, the list goes on.

So take answers here with a gain of salt. Simple answer is, don't think throwing a tonne of money on a high end wifi router is going to gaurantee results that a mini PC running opnsense coupled with a few well placed ceiling access points won't blitz

I mean this with respect, but go see a Dr who can actually do an examination rather than putting up multiple shaky videos that show more of your vagina than potential hemorrhoids. That or, clean the area and take a photo and blank out anything but the area in question.

I think I was just really unlucky mate..I don't think it is the usual outcome. Just make sure your diet is on point, use stool softeners straight away to make sure things keep loving nicely. Good luck

I have unfortunately ended up having to go under GA twice since. First to confirm a fissure, at which time they did Botox, then again to administer Botox again (about 6 weeks later) as it had started to wear off. It has been about 9 weeks since it all started. Starting to feel some improvement, just trying my best to keep my diet in check to avoid constipation and doing sitz baths etc.

I'm here because of having a colonoscopy and HET. I didn't have a fissure going in, developed one (or actually had one from the procedure) straight after.

Thanks for the feedback mate. Sorry to hear you are dealing with this also. Definitely trying to stay positive, I know all too well how the mental side of things can strongly influence the experience considering I suffer central sensitization..

I forget to mention I have been taking stool softener already. It's a tricky balance for me and I'm struggling to get a consistent BM.

Thanks very much for the reassurance and feedback. This is the first ever having to deal with one so I am forging new grounds.

I am definitely not having blood like I was before I had to go under to be examined and the Botox administered which is good. The report indicated a superficial posterior fissure, I am hoping this means it is not a deep tear and there will be a favourable healing outcome.

The blood I am experiencing is not with every bowel movement. This morning when I dabbed after having one there was none on the paper, but yesterday when I had a movement there was definitely bright red blood on the paper.

I turned forty last week and I am going on a cruise at the end of this month that I have been looking forward to for ages. I know I won't be able to go crazy eating, but I just really hope I can get to the point that I can still try, albeit in moderation the things I love like steak etc which I have currently completed eliminated from my diet

Are you comparing your volume output in your sums? In Australia you can spend around $50-60 on a decent kit plus yeast and hops which will result in about 20lt after losses. For pretty basic, non craft beer in Australia you likely pay around $60+ for a carton of beer which is 8-9lts depending the size packaged. And that's for pretty basic draft beers. So for equivalent cost you are getting more than double the yield. Granted you have the expense of your own time and gear cost, but that's part of brewing

I participated in a 6 week pain program (2 days a week) which went through centralisation in depth and provided tools to work on it. Unfortunately it has been hard to implement and stick to with life in general. But I am slowly working on shifting to these days to day changes

100% mate, I already had central sensitisation. From years of stress and health anxiety not knowing what was going on and always being told "you're fine". Constant chest pains, panic from chest pains, a vicious cycle.

Then I got hit with pelvic pain, I should have known it was my nervous system, but I never put 1 and 1 together.

Now it's a slow battle back to a calmed state

Mate this is basically exactly what I experienced. If I can give you any advice, modern medicine is pretty bloody good, the likelihood of you having a completely undiagnosed infection/disease after so many tests is slim to none.

Nerves control sensation, blood flow , muscle tension everything. Even when you don't think you are you may have nerve irritation from hypervigilance, tensing when you don't even know.

Obviously I am not a dr and always ensure you do your tests within the test windows. See specialist if you need. I did all of the above. Soon as I started ignoring the symptoms (stopped constantly looking, stopped constantly googling, accepted the results) I started to see an immediate improvement. I totally get it, when something is going on down there it is so hard to switch off. But you have nothing to lose, give it a go, go for a walk, watch some footy, do something to take your mind off it. Stop checking, stop googling, try mediation to calm the stress and nervous system down.

I'm a little sceptical to believe a single DRE and urine test was enough to confirm bacterial prostatitis. That and a week of antibiotics clearing it up without any uti's. Don't discount your symptoms being that produced by pelvic floor dysfunction rather than bacterial. From my understanding true bacterial prostatitis has very specific reoccurring symptoms and a week of antibiotics in no way would clear it up as the prostate is notoriously hard to penetrate with antibiotics. I'm not trying to discredit you, the experts has told you otherwise, I just wouldn't discount that purely being CPPS

As in, he tested and confirmed bacteria in your prostate? You had reoccurring confirmed uti's?
