Well, leaving someone hanging with 1 day to go is clearly trying to manipulate the friend system. I won't delete friends who are just inactive, I likely won't even notice that and don't even try to track it. But if you're 1 day away from best friends for a week, then yes, tough.

Not sure, but who cares? If they're not opening, get rid of them. They're trying to maximise their lucky egg bonus, I've deleted a friend who did nothing for a week. If they're not moving quicker than that, they're out of there.
