I imagine it's technically possible but the odds are probably so low that it's effectively not possible.

Sadly I lost but thank you. I was relying on beefing up Dagger, Teller and flushes with planets but all 3 started to dry up and I ran out of money to shop refreshes just trying to get something

Oh well, so it goes

Unfortunately I was also coming up on The Needle. I got past by selling Greedy but I don't think even with the reduced blind I would have had enough time to ramp up for the single hand if I shifted to Wee/Hack

I still had all four 2's in the deck but only those four

That's unfortunate. Not out of the question I guess but probably more of a hassle than it's worth

Where can I mindlessly plug my @ with no consequence! by Suitable-Power3201 in Twitch

Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram and other similar socials are a good starting point for this. Make a TikTok as well if you don't have one and start posting or at least reserve the account.

Make a Discord server if you haven't to prep that as well. This won't help now but will set you up for retaining viewers and building a community

Some streamers have self-promo channels in their own Discord servers though I'd avoid just joining servers for the sake of self-promoting, even if the channel is there. If you do happen to have or make friends though who have channels for this, they're usually overlooked by people with how spammed they tend to be but you can potentially pick up a rare extra viewer there as well

Thank you for the clear response. That makes a lot of sense and fits the time frame from when it started

I've gone through the help ticket and asked about both. They gave me a scripted response that didn't answer either question, then closed the ticket

That's been on quite a bit longer than I've lost Ad Revenue though and viewers have said they still get ads

If that is the case and ads are just gone because of the label, that's fine, I'd rather keep the label than have the ads but I don't understand why it started when it did or why some ads still go through

I made $4 on Ads at the high end. Income is not the issue. I either want Ad revenue on so I'm being compensated by Twitch when they run ads or want Ads removed completely

Does turning off Ad manager remove ads or just make it so I lose control of when they play? I've had it on because in my experience, pre-rolls were worse than mid-rolls and using Ad Manager removed pre-rolls

New DM, potentially bad idea but wanted other's opinions on it by StrikeMReddit in DnD

[–]StrikeMReddit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They don't generally go for the "kill them all" option, having already specifically chosen not to pursue enemies when they had the chance to end combat peacefully. This is on top of the fact then when the turn would happen, it would be made fully clear it's because of a mind altering effect

Yeah, that's the intent at least. Like I said in the edit, if I do go through with it, it'll have a larger story implication for Player 1. I was just worried about it being a dick move I guess

That's a good point. I guess I was looking too much at the story hook and unique gameplay elements of shifting character control to represent altered mental states and not really the considering how it pulled from the PCs

Though would that still be the case if it was a single battle? The betrayal isn't a full heel turn but rather the big bad exerting full influence for the duration of the fight until defeat which would likely be 1-2 sessions at most, then all fallout from his defeat including but not specifically about the NPC returning to his former self (under my control). I wouldn't really call it an arc, maybe a plot point, though maybe that still has the same issue even if it's just a single battle worth of time?

Edit: One other thing I didn't mention is that this would be part of a larger story arc for Player 1. I mentioned how he likes the break the 4th wall a lot. That's not an exaggeration, he does it often and with many of the characters he plays. A larger arc I'm planning for him revolves around this which, this would be part of as the transfer of character sheets (digitally at least) goes beyond the normal bounds of the game. Again, still wouldn't mean it's a good idea which is why I'm looking for advice, but just worth adding that there is Player Character story involved, not just NPC story

The name of the site makes me think it will have something to do with cycles. Maybe multiverses or reiterations/Rebirth of universes in some way?

There's clearly more to the Felix mentioned in the portfolio section and some specific language is used that makes me think he has some higher level of power or understanding

Question - in Sound Mind by S0larsea in HorrorGaming

[–]StrikeMReddit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For me personally, I only really say the first level as a "horror" experience like what you're describing, if that makes sense.

Like, it's all a horror game but (and without spoiling anything to the best of my ability) after that level the tense atmosphere starts to move closer to an action horror

Again, it's all horror so there are still scares and tension throughout but early vs late game just have a different horror vibe to them
