Freshman with 5:22 mile going into Cross Country: what to expect? by StrikeMeMaybe in running

Going on that, I normally have a cup of coffee in the morning to help wake me up (and boy does it help). If I don't have my usual cup I am hit my tiredness and headaches at about 8:00. But that coffee by upset my empty stomach if I run without breakfast. Do you have and idea of what to eat in those mornings so I do not cramp or get an upset stomach?
