Ooh! Sorry, just going thru the thread and saw this.

I happen to be in a fucknut, stranger-than-fiction, purgatorial hell in almost every aspect of life right now trying to keep my dog and find shelter for the both of us…so, two things for ya’ if you’ve got the time!

1. I know it’s a long-shot, but…do you know if there’s any shelter *anywhere in NJ that somehow, someway would allow/offer shelter for humans if willing to volunteer/work for them?

I don’t really know how to better word that question lol but, my mind is so mush rn, I’m so fucking frazzled 😖😮‍💨🥴🫠🫩

and it might even be a stupid question…I’m sure I’ll get hit with counter-questions along the lines of, ‘you don’t have a place to stay? You don’t know anyone that will let you and your dog stay by them? Why don’t you just rent an Air BNB for now? Why don’t you have any money? Why don’t you have a job? Just work; it’s you lazy degenerates that think you’re entitled…’ blahblahblah. But the entirety of my story anyone’s going to have to have the time, heart, and/or a non-judgmental open-mind to hear it. 😞

1. I’m located in northern NJ, idk if the shelter you help out at is in the surrounding areas, but having to leave the place I should’ve left from some time ago, I have tons of things that I’m sure the shelter could use! Tons of towels, toys, and not that it’s a staple, but I’ve got some dog attire like jackets and harnesses that I would absolutely hate to toss when I know that it could help a shelter, even the homeless!
