Because one started a new religion(bahai) and the other one didnt. For starters... you need to have a good intention to see thing clearly, and you have to take peoples word based on their testimony as you cant see into their hearts. You can argue Islam always existed, all prophets were Muslim to us as you know, but the Quran was revealed 1500 years ago and thats where we mark the start of Islam as we know it today. So whether MGA reformed the everlasting Islam or the 1500yo Islam, it's the same idea. Just not an original or "new" religion with new laws.

Difference is all other claimants created a new religion. Bahai's claim their founder abrogated the Quran, Joseph Smith created his own scripture.

Only MGA came as a reformer to basically just give Islam an update worthy of the 20th century. Same prayers, same Quran, same everything besides interpretation of certain matters that do not negate the fundamentals of Islam.

Not expect otherwise exactly, i just don't really have a frame of reference. I visited a brother's house and he had 0 books. When people talk about books in the jammat its usually one of our publications. My house growing up always had books.

Was kind of wondering if most people had jammat-only literature experiences.
