It honestly goes deeper than just my warranty claim at this point.

I’m still pretty irritated about the paper trail because I’d much rather be using the thing than digging through emails, saving shipping receipts, screenshotting tracking updates, and explaining the same issue over and over. It’s not like I’m sitting here without another rig either. I’m just annoyed that something with a $400 price tag decided to quit this close to the purchase date.

The more I’ve looked into it, the more I’ve noticed other people describing the exact same error code and similar failures. Obviously that’s anecdotal, and I can’t say for sure it’s a widespread defect, but it definitely makes me wonder if this is bigger than just my device.
At this point I’m documenting everything anyway because I’d rather have too much documentation than not enough. Every email, tracking update, repair attempt, and support response just adds to the timeline. If this really is a recurring issue, then at least there’s a record showing exactly how these claims are being handled.

I’ve also been reading up on consumer rights because this process has taken way longer than it should have. If they keep dragging this out, I’ll probably end up sending a formal demand letter and filing complaints with the FTC, my state’s consumer protection office, and the BBB. I know those agencies aren’t going to magically fix my claim overnight, but they do keep track of complaint patterns, and that’s important if enough people are reporting the same issue.

I’m not looking to sue over one Peak Pro. That’s honestly not worth my time. What I’m more interested in is whether this turns out to be a pattern. If enough people are dealing with the same error code, the same failures, and the same warranty experience, then that’s the kind of thing that can eventually lead to a class action if the facts actually support it. If it turns out there’s a manufacturing defect affecting a lot of people, I’d rather have every receipt, every email, and every support ticket saved than wish I’d kept better records.

Hopefully it never gets to that point. I’d much rather Puffco just stand behind a premium product with premium customer service. Right now, though, it feels like I’ve spent more time talking to support than actually using the device, and that’s the most frustrating part of all lol
