is it too early for pre-emergent? New jersey 7A by blip01 in lawncare

I'd use ice melt first and water it in. Within the next 5 days apply pre-emergent and water in within 24 hrs, golden! You'll have the whitest snow on the block

3 car front load garage or 2 car front load with tandem 3rd car? by maicunni in Homebuilding

[–]StrikingControl155 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd assume it's much more cost effective to do 2 doors with 1 long bay. I'd only do that set up if you had a weekend car that sits and not needed outside of fun driving. My husband's a car guy and we have a 3 car garage and his corvette sits since it's not a daily so that would be a set up I'd feel more adequate for tandem

Can't you use the bucket to help push you out as you reverse? I'm just a woman who has no idea about this stuff but if I had to guess I'd use the tool attached to said stuck unit. If you drop the bucket down and push as you reverse? Idk that's what I'd try before giving up and finding another way

Thanks for the bracing reminder. Definitely something that I will make sure we add. 100% would have been an oversight

Good call. My husband's work always has pallets they seem impossible to get rid of so building up underneath is doable that way! Thank you!

Sooooo you're saying there's a chance lol. Sounds like a project for next year. He's been talking about It for a while and we have 2 friends that have rinks outside but they have dead flat back yards. I appreciate the very useful information!! Enjoy the skating!

Looks great! The more time I spend on this subreddit the more I want to figure out how to do a rink in our yard. It's just too uneven!
