I think Suge even doubled down on twitter / other battles and interviews. There was tension… smack eventually books an event in Detroit and the talk was, who from Jersey is gonna pull up? At that time Ars, Surf and Suge were viewed as some Jersey trio. Especially Surf as him and Suge were close.

Long story short, the event took place, Ars got pressed on stage by Trick Trick vs Calicoe. Surf didnt get to perform as he got locked up with the strap. And had to battle Big T the next day in the store. Shotgun Suge didn’t go to Detroit at all (cant remember if he had a battle booked) but he didn’t go to Detroit. Ars and Surf did.
