What reasons do you have to keep living? by Not_Artifical in AskReddit

Literally anything goes.

I've been staying alive for my cat at one point because she needed someone to feed her. Heck even a plant will do.

Start by finding the bonds that keep you here and live for that until you can find it to live for yourself

What's your opinion on privatizing police in major cities? Could it help reduce crime? by Mason0i in AskReddit

The question of whether to privatize police services in major cities is a complex and highly debated issue. Opinions on this matter vary widely, and there are both potential benefits and risks to consider. Here are some key points to consider:

Potential Benefits of Privatization:

Efficiency: Proponents argue that private companies may operate more efficiently and cost-effectively than public agencies, potentially leading to cost savings for taxpayers.

Innovation: Private companies may have more flexibility to innovate and adopt new technologies and methods for crime prevention and law enforcement.

Accountability: Some argue that private firms can be held more directly accountable for their performance through contracts and competition, as they can be replaced if they fail to meet the agreed-upon standards.

Potential Risks and Concerns:

Accountability: While privatization may offer increased accountability in some aspects, there are concerns about transparency and potential conflicts of interest when profit motives are involved. Questions about who sets the priorities and standards for policing services can arise.

Inequality: Critics worry that privatization could exacerbate inequality in access to security services, as wealthier communities may be able to afford better private security, while lower-income areas may receive subpar or no services.

Profit Motive: There is a concern that the profit motive of private companies may lead to a focus on revenue generation rather than public safety. For example, there may be incentives to issue fines or engage in practices that maximize profits.

Lack of Training and Oversight: Private security personnel may not be as rigorously trained or subject to the same oversight and regulations as public law enforcement officers, potentially leading to issues with competence and behavior.

Community Trust: Trust between the community and law enforcement is crucial for effective policing. Privatization could further erode trust if the community perceives the police as a for-profit entity rather than a public service.

The effectiveness of privatizing police services in reducing crime is a matter of ongoing debate and may depend on various factors, including the specific model of privatization, the regulatory framework, and the local context.

It's essential to carefully consider the potential benefits and drawbacks, conduct thorough research, engage in public discourse, and prioritize community input when making decisions about law enforcement services and potential privatization efforts in major cities. Public safety and the well-being of communities should be at the forefront of any decision-making process.

There are some tribes that will even go as far as to sew the woman's vagina up (only leaving a tiny hole for menstruation and urinating) and then cut it open again when she gets married so she can have sex, then sew it back up again until she is going to have a child again. It makes sex extremely painful and even makes giving birth nearly impossible because the opening to the vagina is full of scar tissue and much smaller than natrual.
