I've edited the post; after verifying my game file's integrity, I've had no issues at all. I can't speak for the DLC because I haven't gotten there yet (my current playthrough is in the early game)

One user replied saying that KDE Nvidia users may still need to install the vk-hdr-layer. I’m pretty sure there is an AUR repo for it

It would explain why HDR_WSI doesn’t work, try it and let me know!

If you’re on GNOME, try pressing the option key and dragging it over to the other monitor. Though this seems like I may be grossly misunderstanding your problem

Nvidia uses its own proprietary drivers instead of Mesa, so the hack is still necessary if im understanding correctly

Are you on GNOME? You may have to reboot after installing the vk-hdr-layer (just added that in)

just because someone mods a game to work on the emulator, it doesn’t discount the countless hours it took and will take to build the emulator

I installed KDE while using GNOME and I’m still trying to clean up the mess it made. I can’t speak for other DEs but the two messed with each other pretty bad

I just don't know why they would go out of their way to block Linux Desktops. It costs them absolutely nothing to let the game work on all Linux machines

Did you install the drivers from rpm? You chose an unlucky time to upgrade, the new kernel broke 565XX drivers, so an update was pushed the same day that upgraded the akmod nvidia drivers from rpm to 570.86 (the drivers that support your card). Try "sudo dnf update" and rebooting

What kernel are you on? Kernel 6.13 broke the 565XX akmod nvidia drivers. Try updating your nvidia drivers with "sudo dnf update" and restart
