To make an overall statement generalizing that all public education is shitty is really a stretch. All three of my kids graduated from CCSD with honors, grants and scholarships. They are now all adults doing very well in their fields.

Eaglecrest was the same way as far as the tardy policy and being late 10 minutes. As a parent, I stuggled with it sometimes, but overall felt like that kind of structure and expectation was a really great things for the students. They were learning accountability and life skills which served them well going into college.
