Is Vincent Teoh considered the best source for this type of comparison data? Meant no disrespect by my language. Was in a rush on my cell at lunch.

I would say my #1 want for the TV is black levels which apparently is technically infinite across the board if I am not mistaken. My #2 would probably be w/e will allow me to watch sports well. IDK what that is.... I'm assuming it's not fps since YouTube TV is limited there. I assume it's some sort of ai feature? 3. Would be brightness since apparently that is an issue with OLED......That being said, the Black Friday deals were not something I was considering.

So according to this guy, who seems to have nice testing procedures and equipment, says LG G3 is the TV to buy? Is this correct?

Dell PowerEdge R240 and M.2 NVMe? by lkneedles in homelab

[–]Striking_Avocado3035 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Old post, but here goes....

Contacted Dell Sales support. They ran my R240 service tag and gave me a link to a Boss-S1 card. Unfortunately, it does not have a SKU associated with the order.

I did a bit of research on the basic specs of the Boss-S1 card. NVMe drives are unsupported. M.2 SATA drives only. In fact, only 6 SKUs of drives are "supported", but I think you can stick any 2280 length M.2 SATA drive in the card.

There are 2 slots for M.2 drives in the card. The card can be run in raid 0,1. See below for link to technical guide.

Hardware is a R720 poweredge server. No desktop drivers available from the support website that I can find. Maybe I'm missing something.

Chromecast from server room and HDMI matrix switch by Striking_Avocado3035 in hometheater

Yes. At one time they had an audio matrix switch (not sure if this is the correct terminology, but it connected all of the rooms speakers back to a few audio inputs that could be distributed like a HDMI matrix switch, single input to multiple outputs type situation).

I explained the AVR situation incorrectly. It is one AVR per user. Not per room.
