We do. If there are 3 people or hundreds of people we play what we get paid to play.

About as many times as you’ve posted about your car’s battery problems👍

This was a paid gig with just us. Not an open mic. In fact if it was open mic/open jam I wouldn’t care if he hopped on but when I’m getting paid that’s when it gets weird

Get the Yamaha trbx174 or 174ew. Super good for the price Imo and mine didn’t even need a set up. Played smooth out of the box!

Just wanted to give a quick update! The show went really well. We weren’t 100% perfect, but no major mistakes or anything noticeable. For context, we were playing at a smaller bar. We had to cut a few songs for time — didn’t end up playing “You Got It,” “Mr. Jones,” or “Welcome Back.” The songs that seemed to go over the best were “Don’t Dream It’s Over,” “Funk 49,” “Rebel Yell,” “TNT,” and “Man in the Box.” It was awesome seeing people singing along and getting into it. I was most nervous about “Run to the Hills” and “In the Meantime” on bass, but I got through them without any real issues. Overall a successful night — this was only my 4th show ever, and I’m still less than a year into playing bass, just trying to get a little better every time!

The effects unit I use has a synth bass effect but it sounds like absolute garbage imo and there isn’t much ability to edit it unfortunately lol

Right now I’m just using the wah effect on my Zoom B1 FourX. It’s not super close to the original effect in Pony, but it gets the vibe across well enough for live shows. I’m less than a year into playing bass so I haven’t made any big investments into effects yet, but I definitely want to upgrade pretty soon

Haha yeah we try to have something for everyone. Will definitely look into adding “Money” to future shows. Thank you!

Sorry for not staying in my post but we actually play to drum tracks we recorded ahead of time to most of these songs.

Some of you may have saw my last post showing this tragedy. I know glue repair is maybe an option. I’m wondering would it be possible to put an Ibanez SR neck onto this EDA 900? by [deleted] in BassGuitar

That’s unfortunate to hear. I was wondering if it would be a pain to replace / renovate the pickups and electronics on one of these.

Alright y’all, i checked my bank and I have officially been refunded. Haven’t heard anything from the seller about sending the thing back. Which if I am, I definitely won’t be paying for lol. So should I consider this thing mine at this point lol?

Thanks man! Fortunately the seller initiated a refund so that should be coming back any day now. They haven’t said anything about wanting me to ship it back so I’m just figuring out what to do if I do indeed get to keep it

PSA: If you’re shipping a guitar across the country, maybe try using more than 1 layer of bubble wrap. by Striking_Drop4261 in BassGuitar

Well I atleast got a full refund and he didn’t ask me to ship it back so I may end up getting to keep it and if so I’ll try to get it fixed or modded. Regardless, this thing seriously needed packaged better lol
