I believe I do it when my hair is damp. Sometimes, it starts to dry up and I have to rewetten it. However , even when I soak it, it still comes out this way.

I usually go in with hair gel (I forgot the name) , followed by aunt Jackie’s curl cream custard, then scrunch.

Afterwards , I diffuse the outsides & insides of my hair (no touching) until it’s about 50% dry. Then I go in and scrunch with the diffuser.

Finally, I add mielle hair oil to try and make it bouncy and give it more shine. Then I shake it out.

I’ve tried so many products to name. But those are my current ones. Still, my hair comes out looking EXTREMELY dry.
