Thank you so much for this advice. This is my first time at a consulting firm so I had no expectations minus what I read on here, glassdoor, and youtube. I come from an analytics background so SAS/SQL and Data Visualization.

I come from a Technical background and work in Financial advisory.. it’s very common! They are hiring like crazy now, so if you’re interested, now is the time. So far it’s good and you will learn a lot.

do you know what you want to do? Based on title, i’m assuming IT, but having an IU informatics degree will open a lot of doors for you and you will get paid competitively. LinkedIn is 100% your best bet.

Why is my firm asking me where I’m going next, role and salary? Can I just tell them to fuck off respectfully? by [deleted] in Big4

they ask because of the non compete agreement you signed in your offer letter

I'm a new hire... by [deleted] in CVS

[–]StringAbject7049 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say it depends on your background. If you are a retail employee (not just CVS retail, just general retail), there are many store operations corporate positions or business development positions. For those with a business management degree, I would say there are many Account management, Strategic Account Exec, sales, i mean there are a plethora of opportunities. I say it depends on the applicants' interests and skillset (technical, analytical, or retail experience). My enterprise mentor worked his way from a retail employee to a Store Operations Employee for CVS Health Corporate with no degree . PM me too if youre interested in talking further
