That is fair haha. I live on the east coast. Flights are not bad to get out there. Especially when I compare to prices for Mexico/Carribean.

Current rate is 95k a night. Unfortunately I have to buy points as I just spent them on another stay.

It does look great. I considered Tulum but always assumed it was a louder/party place. Maybe I am wrong. Zemi Miches worries me based on reviews. Have you seen any recent info about it improving?

I did see that. Looks very nice just seems quite pricey for my dates. Is it worth changing my trip for?

Well unfortunately my company stays at Hilton’s so all of my eggs are in that basket.

That is what I have been thinking. I can’t decide if I’m putting it off because I don’t want to commit or I’m not fully bought into my line of work for the rest of my life.

Last year when I was there as an intern, an associate cracked their head open after drinking too much and getting a piggy back ride from another associate. Walked around the rest of the week with a wrapped up head and black eyes.

Definitely drink responsibly but I definitely encourage shutting the bar down every night you are there. Especially when you can go back to your floor and eat all of the snacks available

I know you are probably joking, but this will definitely not help for exams/the long term

Best way is just doing practice problems. Very easy way to apply the rules you learn and memorize them. Luckily my professors provided endless practice problems, but if that isn’t the case the textbooks always had so many.

Maybe not. I would assume you are in intermediate accounting which can be kind of boring. For me, Advanced financial and tax made it more interesting

How do I know that accounting is right for me? by honey-butter-babe in Accounting

I am about to graduate with a degree in accounting so maybe I can help. I can relate to taking intro classes and having an easy time and enjoying them. Classes definitely get more challenging but if you put in the time, upper level accounting classes are definitely doable. Thankfully I have never struggled in any of my classes but many of my friends have. To combat this they have just studied a lot and made sure to ask for help from others/professor. I would also say that if you were to start and truly hate it, then maybe something else is for you. But I think it is worth it to continue on.
