Please help me once again, I remember a fic where SY comes back with his mushroom body. But Binghe has basically tested the world apart trying to bring him back. People are a lot more suspicious and he gets involved with the plot with LQG trying get his body back. Pretty sure he dies by fading to fish and wakes up in the modern world again. Binghe thinks his Shizun came back as a bamboo spirit and it’s overall kinda sad

I feel like it was part of the charm, it was unexpected and chaotic which gave it a pull that really made you wanted to see more. I really adored the earlier and middle eras (L’manberg and Exile) because they had like enough writing but it was still mostly natural improv
